Erks' centre Dave Churches won the opening tip with ease, batting the ball down court to the lay-up line dunk specialist Ed Bailey who missed the easiest dunk ever! Erks still managed to lead from start to finish led by the hot hand of guard Martin Fowler AKA Mark Denchfield who drained five first half treys from his favoured corner spot. Referee 'H" tried his best to even out a one sided game with some curious calls to no avail, Erks led at half time 35-16.
Robin French was introduced to the game in the second half and immediately scored consecutive treys, Adrian LeClair added two second half treys of his own.
Erks rotated their bench in the last quarter and seemed to lose concentration, giving away rebounds and possession. Lakers guard Chris Mark tried his best to close the scoreline dropping twenty points in an impressive display. Erks lost the last quarter but still won the game easily.
