Erks win Play Off Final |
After last year's disappointing campaign, Erks made up for it by beating Cardinals in the play off final on Thursday 17th. The win means that Erks are now EMBL Champions and Play - Off winners again.

Erks through to Play Off Final |
A week after defeating Lakers to win the Essex Metropolitan League, Erks faced Lakers again in the Play Off semi final. Again Erks were too strong for Lakers and a 97 - 79 point win earned them a place in the final.
Erks will face Cardinals in the final.

Erks win EMBL |
A comfortable 97 - 79 point win over Lakers on Thursday 19th was enough for the Erks to regain the EMBL title after relinquishing it last year to Cardinals. Erks dominated all four quarters and never looked in trouble.

Erks face Lakers again on Thursday 26th in the EMBL play off semi final. The other semi final sees new team Gintaras against Cardinals.

Only Lakers to go |
With only one game remaining in this season's EMBL competition, Erks will finish on top if they beat Lakers on April 19th.

Erks demolish Tigers |
One result which was missed last week was Erks' 99 - 66 point win against Tigers on Thursday night. Martin Overare led the Erks offense with an impressive 54 point haul.

Erks pip Cardinals in OT |
Erks just can't get enough basketball as they played their second overtime game in 5 days on Friday night. Again Erks proved stronger in the extra period and emerged 72 - 66 winners at Cardinals.

Three more wins |
With the end of the EMBL season looming, Erks have had to compress a lot of fixtures into a very short timescale in order to earn maximum points for the championship.
Last Thursday night Erks defeated Forest 116 - 43, on Friday night they beat Lakers 92 - 76 and then on Sunday defeated Stars 95 - 90 after one overtime.
There is still no let up in the schedule as they are back in action on Tuesday at Gintaras, on Thursday against Tigers and finally at Cardinals on Friday.

First loss |
Gintaras proved to strong for Erks on Thursday night. The visitors ran out 76 - 88 winners inflicting Erks' first defeat of the season.

Erks by 10 |
Erks beat Cardinals 80 - 70 on Thursday night. Mark Denchfield and Keith Pringle led the Erks scoring with 24 and 22 points respectively while Steve "The Guru" Herd added an impressive 18.

Erks by 53 |
Erks travelled to Forest on Thursday night and came away with a 116 - 63 point win. Erks' next game is at home on Thursday 19th against Stars.

Erks look for success |
Erks' domination of EMBL was shattered last season as they failed to win either the League or the Play Offs. This season's campaign starts on October 5th with a trip to Forest and they'll be hoping for better things this year.
