Despite their heavy hearts Erks regrouped to squeeze out to a 21 to 6 lead. During which time John Powel and Dave "Garbage" Churches putting on a low post clinic. JP showing how to score inside and Garbage showing how not too..

The Second quarter proved to be a very different affair with the Eagles putting up a spirited fight back assisted by some lack lustre play from Erks.. As the Eagles scored repeatedly on the break! The only thing Erkenwald established in the quarter was Steve "meatloaf "Carter's position in the opposing point guard's pocket.

After giving his best display of the game during the team talk at half time Garbage rallied the troops. Then went on to put his money where his exceedingly large mouth is putting up 15 points in the third as Erks regained control of the game. Leading by a score line of 54 to 32 entering the final quarter.

With the game all but over the final quarter turned into a scrappy affair. So much so bored with the game Jonnie Lee tried to start up a tip drill of his own resulting in him amassing 57 rebounds in four possessions and one fade away jumper the MJ himself could only marvel. Not to be outdone JP put on a dribbling display of his own and if anybody finds the ball we would be grateful if you could return it to us!! The game ending in a 68 to 48 victory to Erkenwald.

Finally Erks would like to congratulate the McCusker family on their new addition to the squad! Wishing them all the luck in the world.. We would also like to wish Gareth "baby broms" Sims a speedy recover from his injury incurred after the game at the pub!
