"Spammy" didn't play but rotund duo "Building site merchant" and "Boardsman" weighing in at a combined (estimated) 52 stone turned out for the hosts to do lots of pushing, shoving, fouling and heavy breathing!

Erks hit the home side early with Robin French registering a quick 5 points and when Adrian and Mark also hit from downtown, Erks opened up a 15 point lead at the end of the first quarter. This was a lead Erks never gave up as 6 of the Erks 8 players hit double figures. Churches was particularly tough at the start of the third as his form was very comparable to Norbs at Woodside a few years ago after he had been drinking turps before the game; but despite Garbage's efforts to let the home team back into the game, this was never to be as Erks closed out for a very convincing away win at the second smallest court in the league (Galleon being the smallest).
