Erks got back to winning ways with a 70 - 42 win over Forest on Thursday 16th. The win keeps Erks on top of the EMBL since they have played two more games than Cardinals.

Following their impressive win over Brightlingsea in the Essex Cup, Erks seem to have pressed the self destruct button and suffered the indignity of a third consecutive EMBL defeat on Friday night.This time it was Cardinals who inflicted the pain with a 49 - 61 home win.
With only two games remaining for Erks, it is difficult to see how they can retain the EMBL title that they have held for the past three seasons. It's now in Cardinals' hands since all they need to do is win all their remaining games and they will be crowned champions. (Posted 11.03.06) |

Hainault Stars' 67 - 73 point win on Sunday has opened up the EMBL championship again. Erks' second loss now puts them alongside Cardinals with two losses. Stars have three.

Erks' domination of the EMBL continued on Thursday night as Erks defeated Forest 98 - 34. Coach McCusker hit a season's best 21 points while Ed Bailey and Adrian Leclair both added a further 18 points.
