Erks lose third game
Following their impressive win over Brightlingsea in the Essex Cup, Erks seem to have pressed the self destruct button and suffered the indignity of a third consecutive EMBL defeat on Friday night. This time it was Cardinals who inflicted the pain with a 49 - 61 home win.

With only two games remaining for Erks, it is difficult to see how they can retain the EMBL title that they have held for the past three seasons. It's now in Cardinals' hands since all they need to do is win all their remaining games and they will be crowned champions. (Posted 11.03.06)
