Hammers nail Erks' play off hopes |
Erks' hopes of qualifying for the Essex League play offs took another hit on Thursday night as the Hammers beat them 59 - 92. The latest table is here.
With only one game remaining, Erks need to beat Tigers on Thursday 17th to claim the final play off berth. If that doesn't happen, Tigers qualify.

Fire dent Play Off chances |
Brentwood Fire achieved the double over Erks on Thursday night, with a 61 - 66 point win at Sydney Russell. With two tough games left against Sledgehammers and Tigers, Erks could now miss out on the EL play offs.

Erks secured another win in the EBL with 67 - 65 win over the Brentwood Mavericks on Thursday night.

Erks into final |
Erks booked their place in the EBL Cup Final with a 64 - 63 win over the Colchester Tigers on Wednesday 2nd. The final takes place at the Brentwood Centre on Sunday March 13th.

Erks shoot down Eagles |
Erks took control of the game directly from the opening tip and managed to get all eight players on the scoresheet in a low key affair on Thursday night in CM2.
Significant highlights included ex Erk, Peas Wilson, dropping 20 points on Steve Herd for the Eagles, Ed Bailey getting a garbage time dunk on his 14 year old opponent but also trying to claim a "Shaky" dunk as a real one, and Baby Broms Gareth wearing James Bonds' underpants.

Southend Saints showed bouncebackability after their recent Cup defeat to win at Sydney Russell on Thursday night. A poor Erks performance on the night finished with a 75 - 82 loss.
